CELEBRATING THE PONY CLUB'S 90TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A COMMEMORATIVE BOOK

CELEBRATING THE PONY CLUB'S 90TH ANNIVERSARY WITH A COMMEMORATIVE BOOK

Newhall Publishing is delighted to have worked with The Pony Club on a special, limited-edition coffee table book celebrating 90 years of The Pony Club.

The book charts momentous events from the last 90 years and looks forward to The Pony Club’s future. Famous faces recount what The Pony Club means to them and how it has shaped their future. The overarching theme of the book is of fun, friendship and horsemanship, which makes it a perfect keepsake whatever your age or connection with The Pony Club.

“The Pony Club’s 90th birthday was a wonderful opportunity to pull together this amazing mosaic of memories, stories and anecdotes from those in the Pony Club’s huge network of supporters throughout the last nine decades.
There were so many fantastic things to celebrate in the book, we were truly spoilt for choice. From profiling our nine fantastic Pony Club sports to sharing information about the branches and centres that have grown around the globe there was so much to share – and not forgetting our members’ horses and ponies, who I’m sure would have many tales to tell of their own.
I would like to thank everyone involved with the book from head office staff, our publishers Newhall and of course everyone who contributed stories and photos, it has been a huge team effort.”
Marcus Capel, Chief Executive, The Pony Club

“Newhall worked closely with The Pony Club over a six-month period developing ideas and commissioning interviews and photoshoots for the book. Everyone who was or is still connected to The Pony Club has a story to tell, but the one thing they all have in common is the huge pleasure derived from being part of such a special organisation. We wanted the book to reflect a selection of these special stories and anecdotes from members both past and present. Newhall is very proud of the end result and to have helped commemorate this very special year in The Pony Club’s history.”
Anita Comerford, Group Editor, Newhall Publishing
